At first I would have preferred the tutorial to be in written form, but I find this method with Michael’s voiceovers convenient, clear, and easy to follow using the pause button.
The Featured Post was easy, and it populated quickly on the first try. The “About” presented some problems for me as I felt the About tab and the page title appearing almost directly above the tab were duplicitous. There may be a better workaround, but I simply left the page title blank and it worked perfectly.
The final two pre-formatted tabs required some code additions as I did not want either plugin for now. My site is less than 30 days old and I really don’t want to advertise the fact that I have only 3 comments! I simply referenced and linked to one of our shopping center properties under one, and the other remains unused for now. The site is not quite alpha
I am recommending any of Michael’s products highly. I have the Solostream 3 column and it is a great basis for my needs. It is easy to modify, the code is very good, and his tutorials are faultless. Thanks, Michael and Solostream Studios!
