I am just curious as to how in depth the premium content is going to be.

Question: I am just curious as to how in depth the premium content is going to be. I really liked the idea of your site. But now it seems to be geared towards only wordpress and have a premium section. Could you give me some info on how much will be wordpress based content, and what will be the difference between free and premium content. I am interested in learning about wordpress, but I was also excited to learn about CSS sites in general.

Answer: I can’t give you any details at this point, because I just don’t know for sure. I will say this. You can’t really do Wordpress theme design without learning CSS and XHTML, so that will be an integral part of the content. So, ultimately, I suppose there will be a fairly equal balance of CSS, XHTML and Wordpress material. One idea I had was to do a Basic XHTML module (a series of video tutorials) and a Basic CSS module. Sort of like web design basics. I hope you’ll stick around to see how it develops. I very much appreciate your feedback as it helps me get clear in my own mind how to best serve folks like you.

Hey Michael - I just purchased WP-Glory. Thanks for the great theme! I also like Simplicity a lot. I found you via Conversations With Experts podcast with the Blog Squad. First, let me thank you for what your doing. I have been all over Wordpress sites and you are the most professional theme developer i have found. I purchased from you because it makes me feel comfortable knowing there is “a man behind the curtain” that i can contact if i need help or upgrades. I think you are on to something here with having a membership based site to help small business people like me figure out how to create websites that “work” and websites that “sell” using the wordpress platform. I would imagine that every person is going to have a unique question about how to customize the theme. If you could answer them in a “screen cam video” that would be great. anyways. great work michael. feel free to use my comments as a testimonial anywhere on your sites. thanks again. 3 Follow up Qeustions - things i would like to know that im sure others could benefit from 1) how to get rid of the “auto stretch” function in this theme. 2) how to “encapsulate” this theme into a box with a border (like Simplicity) so that the outside of the box is a darker color. This makes it much easier to read IMO. 3) Removing the Title and Subtitle from a blog (like you did on this site) and adding a more professional image logo looks great - but does it hurt S.E.O.? Isn’t the the Title and subtitle the first thing a spider is going to look at when it crawls throught the site and reports results?
anyways. keep up the good work. thanks. Winter.
